First of all, group leader Wang Juan read out the teaching and research work plan which consisted of three modules: the work objectives, regular work and work progress. Then, on the basis of the original experience, teacher Wang Juan adjusted and perfected this term’s work, such as encouraging the teachers to attend lectures, the implementation of language practice activities and exhibition of excellent compositions.

Second of all, Principal Huang Zuning delivered a keynote speech in which she hoped each teacher could keep learning, proceed thorough thinking, dare to explore and further understand and grasp the rules of Chinese teaching to improve teaching quality. In addition, Principal Huang Zuning hoped each teacher would not only facilitate the healthy growth of students, but also constantly improve themselves and enjoy a happy life.

After the meeting, the Chinee Department organized a pen writing competition for teachers who wrote earnestly and meticulously to pursue excellence. Thus, this contest played a positive role in promoting the improvement of teachers’ basic skills.

All in all, the teaching and research meeting sounded the bugle of the Chinese teaching and research work in the new semester, which laid a solid foundation for the further implementation of Chinese teaching and research work in an orderly way.
